Instructions for use

How to use and replace Yewtwist.

Disconnecting #1

Description

A device for disconnecting IV, dialysis and feeding connections. Provides users extra grip and leverage, so connections come apart with less strain on users hands and wrists, and lowers the risk of damaging IV lines.

  1. Straight bar design gives added strength.
  2. Soft, non-slip jaws provide a secure grip on the connection without damaging the line.
  3. Three jaw sizes fit a wide range of IV, dialysis and feeding tube connections.

Indications for use

To limit force on the hand and wrist, use Yewtwist on all IV disconnections.

  • For routine use on every disconnection, and on overtightened, difficult to disconnect or adhered fittings.
  • Intended to assist with the disconnection of Luer lock fittings, including fittings used for medical purposes, by providing additional grip and leverage.
